Chairman Kang Being Conferred with Hon. Doctorate Degree

Daekyo Group Chairman Young-joong Kang acquires Honorary Doctorate of Physical Education from the Korea National Sports University
Daekyo Group Chairman Young-joong Kang was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Physical Education from the Korea National Sports University. The ceremony was held on April 2 at the joint lecture room of the Korea National Sports University with approximately 250 distinguished international and Korean guests and Daekyo officers present.
At the ceremony, the Korea National Sports University President Jung-moo Lee introduced the Daekyo Group Chairman Young-joong Kang, concurrently serving as Chairman of the Korea Badminton Association and as Chairman of the Asia Badminton Association, as a contributor to the development of Korea’s educational industry, leading the Daekyo Group, well known as Noonnoppi, as well as supporting domestic sports endeavors by engaging in public activities and social contributions including the launch of women’s badminton and soccer teams.
