Daekyo EduCamp announced on the 3rd that it is launching a new drama-based play program, “Cre-Acting,” designed to help children understand their emotions and develop the ability to express themselves freely.

The newly launched “Cre-Acting” program combines “Creative” expression and “Acting” (drama play). It is designed to help children grow by becoming the main characters of their own stories, expressing themselves through both movement and speech. Led by professionally trained instructors with acting majors, the participatory activities naturally foster children’s self-expression skills and emotional development.

The program is available for children aged 6 to 8 and centers on story-based drama play, along with physical and emotional expression activities and scene photo point activities. Through these activities, children learn to recognize their emotions and express them appropriately according to different situations.

In addition, through the process of drama play, children naturally develop executive function (EF) skills such as waiting their turn, following rules, and maintaining focus. The program is also designed to enhance social skills and creativity by providing opportunities for role-sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution.

The program runs for four weeks, with 40-minute sessions per class, and will first be introduced at the TriniTrini PLUS Ilsan Pungsan Center. It is planned to expand into a regular 12-week semester program at major TriniTrini centers nationwide. More information can be found on the official Daekyo EduCamp website.

A representative from Daekyo EduCamp stated, “This program was designed to help children take on roles and express themselves through movement and language in drama play, enabling them to better understand themselves and grow through self-expression. We will continue to introduce differentiated play-based content that supports children’s holistic development.”
